Tampa Bay History Museum
Hillsborough County, Florida

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is providing structural engineering design and construction administration services on this new $17 million, 60,000 square foot up-scale museum on Tampa Bay. The structure has four levels with ground floor parking on-grade. The museum will include a visitor reception area, museum store, theme café, event room, exhibition areas, classrooms and a library/resource area, administration, storage and collection areas.

Reinforced concrete slabs/ joist system supported by post-tensioned beams/girders
Driven precast concrete pile foundation
Glass walls at the front and back supported by structural steel framing
