Greater Clark County High School - Charlestown, Indiana

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. is currently providing structural engineering design and contract administration services for major renovations and additions to this existing high school. The two-story, 52,000 square foot athletic wing is a co-educational multi-use center containing four basketball courts and two additional auxiliary courts for other sports and activities. The main center court has retractable bleachers with seating capacity of 3000 and a column-free floor area of 142 feet by 188 feet. The center also houses men’s and women’s locker rooms, varsity rooms, lobby with ticketing and concessions, coaches’ and department offices, restrooms, and storage. The overall project features 197,000 square feet of additions, 72,000 square feet of renovations, and a projected construction budget of $35 million.
