TRC Worldwide Engineering
Originally developed in 1956, this oceanfront resort has undergone multiple phases of modernization and expansion to support its continued growth as a premier hospitality destination. TRC provided structural restoration, inspection, and design services across several major improvement initiatives spanning multiple decades.
Most recently, the property completed a multi-million-dollar renovation between 2017 and 2023 that nearly doubled the indoor function space and expanded the pool deck areas. The 11-story main building and connected wings — including the pedestrian walkway spanning Seabreeze Boulevard to the Marina Tower — required careful evaluation to support ongoing upgrades while maintaining operational continuity.
TRC’s involvement included restoration of balcony slabs, stucco, and railings on the main structure (2012), design of the bridge spanning US A1A (1992), and design and restoration work associated with the west-side parking garage (2014). These efforts focused on extending structural service life, improving durability in a coastal environment, and supporting the resort’s phased reinvestment strategy.
The result is a revitalized waterfront property supported by decades of structural expertise and targeted restoration planning.
