TRC Worldwide Engineering
TRC Worldwide Engineering provided precast engineering services for this high-performance data center in Oklahoma City, engineered to meet extreme wind, energy, and operational performance requirements.
The precast concrete system was designed to withstand wind loads exceeding 300 mph, delivering a hardened enclosure capable of supporting mission-critical operations in severe weather environments. Insulated precast wall panels provide both structural resistance and thermal efficiency, reducing heating and cooling demands while maintaining long-term durability.
Beyond performance, the precast system enhances architectural consistency by aligning the new facility with an adjacent existing data center. Panel geometry and detailing were coordinated to achieve visual continuity while maintaining structural efficiency.
The wall panels incorporate carbon-fiber reinforcement to minimize thermal bridging, further improving energy performance and contributing to reduced operational costs over the life of the facility.
The result is a resilient, energy-efficient precast structure engineered for extreme environmental conditions and long-term operational reliability.
