TRC Worldwide Engineering
TRC Worldwide Engineering provided precast structural engineering services for this 24/7 mission-critical data center designed for performance, reliability, and long-term scalability.
The facility incorporates flexible raised flooring systems and scalable power capacity beginning at 50 watts per square foot, expandable to 100 watts per square foot as operational demands increase. The precast concrete structural system was engineered to support these elevated loading requirements while providing speed of construction and long-term durability.
Designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, the structure resists hurricane-force winds up to 150 mph. The precast system delivers inherent strength, rigidity, and resilience - critical for uninterrupted data operations.
To support continuous uptime, the facility includes fully redundant electrical and mechanical systems, as well as a 115,000-gallon backup water tank to maintain cooling operations in the event of municipal water disruption. The structural design accommodates these heavy mechanical loads while maintaining floor performance and vibration control standards required for data center environments.
The result is a hardened, high-performance precast structure engineered for reliability, scalability, and operational continuity.
