TRC provided structural engineering design and contract administration services for Marina Grande on the Halifax, a major 1,000-unit waterfront residential community spanning approximately 2.71 million total gross square feet.

The 18-acre gated development features four 24-story luxury condominium towers with panoramic views of the Halifax River and Atlantic Ocean, supported by two structured parking garages and a robust amenity program. Community features include a private marina, 16,500 square feet of enclosed neighborhood retail, tennis courts, and a waterfront clubhouse with a fully equipped fitness center, steam room, and sauna.

The tower structures utilize post-tensioned two-way concrete flat slabs supported by cast-in-place concrete beams, columns, and shear walls, all founded on auger-cast pile systems designed for coastal performance. The parking garages were constructed using precast concrete double tees with inverted tee beams, along with precast columns and lite wall systems to maximize durability and construction efficiency.
