Mr. Moerschel has had a major role in the design and detailing of various projects and structure types including municipal, educational, residential, hotels, office buildings, healthcare, and small commercial buildings. He has developed an extensive background in design utilizing various types of structural systems including concrete, steel, wood and aluminum, and cast-in-place, prestressed and post-tensioned concrete. Restoration/Inspection projects vary in scale from small single balcony restoration to hurricane strengthening of high-rise structure envelopes.
Mr. Moerschel has proven his ability to produce cost-effective structural system designs by demonstrating effective management techniques and utilizing construction experience to overcome project constraints imposed by program designs and budget.
His experience includes structural design and detailing, preparation of engineering drawings, preparation of project specifications and bid documents, construction administration, analysis of damage to existing structures, designs for repairs and strengthening of existing structures, condition surveys and reserve studies for clients.
