Main Street Parking Garage - Fort Myers, Florida

Project Description
TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. was selected by the City of Fort Myers' Department of Public Works for the restoration of the 5-story parking garage structure located in the Downtown River District.

Services included a report of existing conditions to establish the project scope and budget, followed by technical specifications and bidding documents. Construction was performed by the successful bidder in conjunction with routine inspections and contract administration conducted by JC/TRC while maintaining occupant use.

Solutions
Repair spalled concrete deck surfaces, precast joist ends, beams and columns
Replace pre-molded expansion joints at roof deck
Waterproof entire roof deck and upper ramp with traffic bearing membrane, as well as perimeters of lever levels
Seal notched wall joints with extruded silicone strips
Caulk brick veneer joints and install stainless steel helical ties
Waterproof stair landings with flexible cement coating and paint adjacent walls
Pressure wash all architectural precast guard rails and apply clear penetrating sealer
